İrlanda’nın ilk teknolojik üniversitesi olan TU Dublin, eşsiz program çeşitliliğini Pathway programlarından mezuniyete, hazırlık ve staj programları ile lisans ve doktora bölümlerinde sunmaktadır. 1887 yılında kurulan TU Dublin sanat, iş, bilim, mühendislik ve teknolojiyi İrlanda’nın ve dünyanın her yerinden gelen 28.000 öğrencisi ve araştırmacısıyla birleştirmekte olan bir üniversitedir. TU Dublin, Dublin’in en eski Teknik Üniversite olup, sayısal alanlarda güçlü olduğu kadar sunmuş olduğu sosyal bölümler ile de ön plana çıkmaktadır. İrlanda’da eğitim almak isteyen adayların eğitim süresince haftalık 20(saatlik ortalama ücret 10€), tatillerde haftalık 40 saat çalışma izni bulunmaktadır ve İrlanda Cumhuriyeti lisans eğitimi sonrasında 1 yıl, yüksek lisans sonrasında 2 çalışma izni sunmaktadır. TU Dublin mezunlarının ilk 6 ay içerisinde işe yerleşme oranı %90 civarındadır.
İyi geliştirilmiş kampüsleri olan bu üniversite Dublin şehrinin nüfus artış hızı bakımından 2 büyük yeri olan Blanchardstown ve Tallaght’tadır. Bu bölgeler şehir merkezine kuzeybatı ve güneybatı olmak üzere konumlanmıştır. Merkezden kampüslere ortalama gidiş süresi 30-45 dakikadır. Bu kampüslerin yanında şehir merkezinde de kampüsü bulunur ve merkeze en yakın kampüs niteliğini taşımaktadır.
İrlanda’nın en büyük avantajlarından birisi olan çalışma izni ile merkezde veya okul kampüslerine yakın olan konumlarda hayat şartlarınızı uygun bir seviyeye getirebilir, şehir hayatından kopmadan kaliteli bir öğrencilik geçirebilirsiniz. Dublin kentinin tarihi dokusunu araştırabilir, eşsiz büyüklükteki parklarında saatlerce kaybolabilir, şehrin sokaklarında yapılara hayranlıkla bakara dolaşabilir, ünlü Irish publarında vakit geçirebilirsiniz. Yabancı ve öğrenci dostu olan bu şehir tam okumak isteyeceğiniz bir konumdadır.
İrlanda dünya eğitim kalitesi sıralamasında ilk 10 ülke arasındadır. Toplam nüfusu 4.8 milyondur. Ülke içerisinde asgari ücret; 10.10 Euro’dur, mezuniyet sonrası asgari gelir yıllık 35.000 Euro’dur. İrlanda’da lisans veya yüksek lisans öğrencilerinin diplomalarının uluslararası geçerliliği vardır.
İrlanda Avrupa sınırları içerisinde en genç nüfusa sahip ülke konumundadır. İrlanda nüfusunun (yaklaşık nüfus 4,8 milyon) neredeyse %30’u 25 yaş ve altındadır ve aynı zamanda AB içerisinde en az göç veren ülkelerin başında gelmektedir. 1973 yılından beri Avrupa Birliği üye ülkesi olan İrlanda, Avrupa’nın en hızlı büyüyen ekonomisi olarak da nitelendirilmektedir. Bu hızlı büyümenin ana sebebi ise Google, Facebook, Yahoo, Ebay, Paypal, Microsoft, Linkedin, Airbnb gibi dünyanın başlıca en iyi şirketlerinin Avrupa merkezlerinin İrlanda’da bulunmasıdır, 1400’ün üzerinde yabancı şirketin İrlanda’da merkezi bulunur.
